Integrated Gestalt, EMDR, and Soul Work: My Therapeutic Journey
I am Jennifer Smallwood, a psychotherapist in Sheffield dedicated to providing deeply integrated and customised care.
My own personal and professional journey has seen many twists and turns: shifting from a career in banking and business consultancy to Gestalt psychotherapy, EMDR trauma work, integrative, somatic and transpersonal therapies, soul guidance (see www.akashicrecordsuk.org) and most recently, soul midwifery. Along this pathway, I have gathered not only the wisdom of lived experience but also extensive training in a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
These trainings have shaped me as a therapist and helped me to heal myself, ensuring that I can meet you with depth, compassion, and skill.
This breadth allows me to adapt to the individual needs of each client rather than fitting you into a single model.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: that no matter how fragmented, hopeless, or disconnected you may feel, healing and reconnection with your true self is possible.
