Gestalt Psychotherapy

Gestalt psychotherapy is a holistic process-based approach for the healing and growth of the whole person. Its therapeutic aims include increased self-awareness, agency, responsibility and self-direction. It views the whole of the person rather than reducing him to a set of symptoms: “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” The journey through Gestalt psychotherapy is about becoming Whole rather than feeling fragmented or disconnected from life.

Jennifer adds a psycho-spiritual element to her psychotherapy so clients aren’t left floundering in recurring and unhelpful patterns of negative thoughts, emotions and behaviours. She believes “Many of our issues are purposefully coming to the surface to be resolved now, today, in this incarnation. If you are stuck in these patterns and can’t seem to change or let go of them, they may have an intergenerational or karmic component to them. Whatever (soul) wounds occurred, either in you or your family’s ancestral lineage, a persistent sense of fragmentation or disconnection is often experienced. Let’s find out what the life lessons are from these wounds and find resolution for them. Then you can do what you came here to do… live life fully while resolving past issues.”

Personal psychotherapy is available at £70 per 50-minute session.
