About Jennifer

Jennifer began her first career in the world of finance after graduating from University College Dublin with an honours degree in Philosophy. Jennifer spent 12 years working in this field, culminating in business consultancy in the UK after which she decided to forge a different path into the world of psychotherapy, where she discovered what she truly wanted to do was walk alongside others on their path to wholeness.

In 2003, Jennifer completed training as an Integrative Psychotherapist at Sheffield Hallam University and began building her private practice. In 2008, she went on to earn her MA in Gestalt Psychotherapy at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute before spending a year working for the NHS in Derby, and another 8 years serving as a senior therapist and deputy clinical manager for the FREED Beeches Eating Disorder Charity. During this time, she also gained a certificate in Supervision with the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy.

As a senior accredited member of the BACP and an accredited EDMR therapist and consultant with  EMDR Association UK & Ireland, Jennifer has spent the past decade further cultivating her devotion to promoting wholeness in her clients through continued exploration of different therapeutic healing practices and training in somatic bodywork, Transpersonal Yoga, Reiki Seichem, and meditation for mental health.
